Delicious Thai food in Panorama City! I always come here with my parents. It is one of our favorite Thai restaurants to go to. The service is excellent and the food comes out so fast. The restaurant has a parking lot in the back with plenty of spaces. Our go to order (all sharable portion sizes): -Pad thai - very flavorful and peanuty, generous with the veggies, especially bean sprouts, got it with fried tofu -Pad se ew - We get this with vegetables only and it is very flavorful as well -Tom yum chicken - Our favorite soup! Sour and spicy soup with lots of mushrooms and chicken. -Chicken fried rice - cannot go wrong with the fried rice. There is always something so delicious about Thai fried rice. They are not stingy with the chicken they put. Overall, always a great experience at this restaurant. Very family friendly and they have another room where they hold events for larger parties.

Chicken Pad Prik King- green bean in curry paste is the best , Pad Ka Prow, Crab fried Rice , got to be in my order too. Excellent service with all the friendly staff, especially May, Kat, Angie, even the owner will be there to serve you. Very nice, clean and friendly place to be.

Delicious food and great service. My favorite was the pad kee mao, papaya salad with salted crab, and spicy eggplant with ground chicken. We got medium spice on everything and that was perfect for us. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area

How did I not know about this place until now!!! If you've lived in the valley from back in the day this is the old Shakeys building. When you first walk in the place looks small but when you walk towards the back, there's tons of seating for large groups. Everything was so good. I highly recommend the following: Chicken larb medium spice which a ground chicken seasoned with lime and onion. So good over steam rice. The bbq pork was tender and had a great amount of flavor. Beef jerky - although you need to add some muscle into your bite. It still tender with lots of flavor. Pad see ew - you can never go wrong with a rice noodle with Chinese broccoli. Service was prompt and serving size for each dish was generous especially for family style eating.

I've been coming to The Original Khun Dang Thai Restaurant for years, and it never disappoints! The extensive menu offers a huge selection of authentic Thai dishes, ensuring there's something for all everyone. My absolute favorite is the Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork - it's a must-try! The crispy pork is perfectly cooked, and the broccoli is always fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly and attentive, making each visit a delightful experience. The ambiance feels like someone's home it's very comforting. If you're looking for a consistently excellent Thai restaurant, this is the place to go!

This is a Delivery review. First time trying this place. I got the Pad Se Ew with fried tofu which is my favorite Thai noodle dish. It was delicious. The flavor was on point and the fact they actually used Chinese broccoli is a plus. The portion size was good and it was hot when I got it. The other dish I tried was the Panang Curry with fried tofu and I ordered Fried Rice. The curry does not come with rice, it was a separate charge. It may be different at the restaurant. The rice on its own had a really good flavor and the curry was perfect. I asked for it to be medium spicy and it was just right. This was also nice and hot when I got it. The delivery was fast and the food was packaged very well. I will definitely order from here again.

I can't get enough of this place. I have ordered now 3x in one week. It is a tall tale sign that this place is good. I think becuase I am also seeking a pescaterian (seafood friendly) experience This place has me craving for their following: Green curry with soft tofu Pumpkin curry with soft tofu Crab fried rice (can't ever go wrong with this) Eggplant with pork Prik King (green geans) with tofu This crafted my perfect meal for this week. I'm becoming a fan.
